Outing with my Cousins
11:28 PM 7 Sept (Tuesday)  Its still in the holidays and finally, I get to spend some time with my cousins. Whenever I go out with them, I always see miracles. And its not those kind of small miracles, there are some big miracles there too. We went to Sentosa again. But its been a long time since I’ve been there. We went there to swim there in the sea water and I was dam scared cos I always think if we go too far, there will be sharks there. Yea, stupid me. So even went for kayaking… They got a new game called Lunge, a game I have seen but never tried it out. So alright, lets go try it out. I remembered when I got a favourite song called You Alone are God. Yeah. So we ride the Lunge, its like go-kart but not exactly. We push this handle back to brake and push it forward to speed up, as simple as that. So we need to go up this hill, only by cable carrier that is totally awesome. So I get to talk with my cousin and yes, he’s quite playful. So the first time, I went there. Woah… my butt hurts! But it was, real fun, I thought I would get a headache. So willingly, I went again. I remember I went about 4 times before I nearly knocked out. Then we on the Flying trapi. Actually, I was a little anxious if I can do both a hang and a back filp. To my surprise, I actually did it. I so so happy but im also dam scared so I gave up going after the first round. Joshua went for 3 times, he tried to put his legs up but couldn’t do it. I got a short video on it. Next, we went to East coast Park for dinner, I forgotten where we had lunch oops, anyway, I thought of burning a new disc to Joshua so they wont have to listen to the same music disc all over again. We got to East Coast Park where we saw this broken tree then I saw the smile on my uncle’s face. Yay, so we went up and climb up and broken tree. I must admit, my uncle is also not bad at taking pictures, he took in such a way that we were sitting on a tree with the sky under us. It was totally cool. So we played around the tree until my auntie told us it was dangerous. Yeah, it happens. So we ate dinner at the food court there and my mee goring came sooo late. All becos I ordered an egg extra. WTC. At the moment I thought they forgotten my order. But what shocks my day was when we head back home. We saw 2 cats together so excitedly, Joshua wants to feed the cats. So we threw fish cakes (WTC) at it. Then to my amazement, 5 cats came along as well. We were like the center of attention throughout the whole park. Like seriously, anyone that walk or cycle or skate past us, will look at us. Ok cool! Moving on, we took abut 10 steps towards the car when we saw a toad hopping in the middle of the road. And the toad was BIG man! Its like the size of your palm. We actually wanted to chase it down or capture it but…. Mu uncle don’t want so fine. I tried to take a pic on how big the toad was but its hard. Hey at that time, my photography not very good k! So while we were going back, I actually thought and reflect about the day. It was indeed a miraculous day. I mean you don’t see THESE kind of things everyday. so I thought wayyy back. All my uncle ever did was made a very short prayer, and he made the prayer as he was driving. It was really short and something came to my heart that even such a short prayer, miracles do happen. It was what inspired me at that time to always pray before I go for something, maybe short, maybe long, nevertheless, something bound to happen. God I think, its time I start doing that nowadays, I noticed that the moment I forget about you, I lose everything else. And yeah… it’s a sad thing to do.          the toad is bigger than it seems  Movie Review- Legend of the Guardians When this movie was featured, I already had high hopes for the movie, which was a bad thing. It means I had high expectation of the movie. True, I didn’t exactly dislike the movie, but I didn’t really intensely enjoy it as well. The slow motions are epic, fighting scenes are cool and the plot is clear but I feel the movie is rushed. The slow motion was there but it just really didn’t capture me. There were many times I wish the scenes were better. But then again, I cant say its all bad. In fact, the character building for this film is good. I only felt it was too fast. It felt as if Zack wanted to start and end the film. A pair of brothers get separated after an accident fall and is pick up by the enemies. Hope arises when one brother risk everything to find the guardians and to save his only brother. I can say its one of the most creative and cute animation I have seen though. Hopefully, there will be a sequel and even so, hope the sequel is not disappointing. Zack is still good in his slow-motions. Waiting for his 2011 film Sucker Punch. Overall, its best to watch it with children. |
