Outing with Friends
9:48 PM 3 Sept (Friday) Last dinner outing with T1A2 Finally, after a long time, I kinda knew this particular day will come. Okay, first thing, its not exactly the last dinner outing like we’re gonna die and so on. But it’s the last dinner with T1A2 cos next month, we will be in different class with different people with different friends. We met at Bugis. Shao Hui was the organizer and I thought all was going well but I don’t know why in the last minute, almost everyone seems to back out. Kaizer was super swayyyy. He got work on the time when we were going out. So its was Shermaine, PY, SH, Sek and me + Norman. We went to Swensen (is that how u spell it??) nvm. So we ate there and Im about to buy a bomb again. Cos maybe no one knows where to eat or they just like expensive quality food. We talked a lot of rubbish and how they feel going to China. Its kinda funny how im writing this even though they are alr back from China. I keep thinking im super slow in posting stuff :| so Norman only came halfway when we were ordering. Then we wanted to have Dessert but not down there. We walked and cross the streets. True, we saw quite a lot of dessert stores and Norman was telling me which are the good ones. I guess he has been around Bugis for many times. Then I noticed, crap. Norman actually LIVES in Bugis. No wonder la! Then we went to buy…. Apple… something, shit. I forgotten! Some thing long and crispy bread type with apple bits inside. Its not apple crumble! Its apple something else! Nvm. I also realized Shermaine can understand Cantonese cos Sek speaks it as well. Oh man, I wish to learn it but made no time for it. The outing was rather simple, just a lot of eating. And later, we went back home. I guess I will miss them cos they wont be in my class anymore. But thank God, some are in the same IS class as me, haha. So in actual fact, I wont miss them that much :P   fountain     Movie Review- Takers Rating- 7.9/10__3 stars Despite the strong cast, the plot still lacks creative. Yes, the movie is smart. Yes, the movie has fast-paced action but I got to admit, the whole thing was actually very predictable. Im not saying its bad, it just was not there yet. However, I do enjoy the Parkour chase scene. There were times that I was at the edge of my seat, and there were times when I felt really bored. After all, a cop wont be so devoted that he focuses more on a robbery case rather than to spend time with his family. Which cop does that? Unlike The Town and Point Break, the movie was just okay. It begins with 5 people with perfect planning, able to rob a bank and get away with it. Then came another job which requires them to rob a bigger bank but within a week’s time which is too short. But the team persisted it can be done and as you all know, their last job is always the most toughest one, just like every other movie. For non-movie people, it would be good. For movie fans, it is nothing special. |
