Update on Life 11:04 PM

Last post in 2-3 weeks
Hello and again, today I went to Gym with Ben and we practice the guitar and yesss! Im finally leading Worship in my Cell, though im not a singer and my timing for beats sucks. But anyway, its good I can lead a Cell in Worship. Then I went o Wushu training, I can still do my stunts. Surprised to hear that most of my friends have changed since the last months, don’t know why but they became more vulgar and more stereotype. Sigh* its sad to see how much people cared for themselves only.

So anyway, im going to Sentosa with my friends tmr. Then im gonna sing with Ben again and we’re gonna go for Cell. Friday, I maybe going out with Ben and going Shel’s home to see her dog. Haha, we have so much to talk about. On Saturday, im maybe going to practice guitar with Ben and im coming for Megalife if I can. Sunday, I got Shadowing to do and I’ll hang out with my Cell if possible then when I get home, I gonna start packing and sorting out my things. And the Next 2 weeks, I’ll be packing a lot so I cant go out with any of my friends so I’ll tell you straight, don’t ask me out cos im gonna be real real busy. I will be free until 14 Apr which one 1 more day time, I gtg Poly alr.

This is just a very quick update and until then, I wont post anything though I will post about my friends in Sentosa and my outing with my cousins soon. And my orientation and my day of Moving has clashed, omg, this means I’ll be even more busy and crap, its gonna be one rushing week… Pls understand guys, thanks!! Will miss u all too but don’t worry, I wont last long :)

Movie Review- Alive in Wonderland
Rating- 8.9/10__ 4 stars
Directed by Tim Burton (Sweeney Todd & Sleepy Hollow). Not so much like a Tim-Burton movie but nevertheless, still entertaining and enjoyable. Like a typical Disney movie, Alice follows a rabbit and falls down a hole which led her to Wonderland. However, Alice persisted in saying that she was in a dream until some attacks of an enemy were very ‘real’. Alice soon finds out she could be the only hope of restoring Wonderland. The dressings and make-up of the characters are weird, wacky and wild which makes the movie so wonderful. Johnny Depp stars as Mad Hatter and Anna Hathaway plays the White Queen who is really white. The Red Queen wants to seized Alice and she gets a some-what joy of cutting peoples’ heads. I believe both adults and children would enjoy the movie. It background reminds me so much of Avatar as its like a fantasy world. The computer graphics are just magnificent. The pace is good, I guess no one will ask so much questions as the movie will answer them along the way. The only down side of this movie is that this one is more of a kids movie than an actual Tim-Burton movie.

With my sis friends
My sis was going to some Cheerleading competition. Ivan and Francine were coming too. And the thing of my sis is, he sometimes quite blur, like me. So we were uncertain of whether it was at Expo or not. So we saw the banner and okay, its at Expo. Now, where in Expo? Then my sis says it maybe at Hall 2 but she also unsure. So we walked on and yes… it was at Hall 2. Jess just got to stop doubting so much. So when we went in… then what? Find a place to seat la, but I had no idea where to seat despite some empty seats in front of me. U know, that kind of atmosphere where u don’t feel rather comfortable. Yeah, that’s what I was feeling. That uncomfortable feeling and I can don’t know why. Then jess Cheerleading friends came and help me, or should I say, drag us to a place to seat. Well, the performance were pretty good and entertaining but I just don’t like Cheerleading, sry. So after a while, we went off and look at some food in Hall 5. Wow, there were a lot of good food. But sadly, I don’t have much money. I tried some egg tarts and a little of some shark fin and some sausage rice. Then jess and I got back home by bus. As for me, im going Megalife with Ben.





So zack and I were talking about Moving on and how we have to let the things, we once loved, go. And when we went up to the MRT. There was a large crowd of people and we cant even walk to the other side. It seems like an accident took place. The train stop half way. So I looked at my time and we were late. So I took a train to Expo and wanted to take a bus from Expo to my Church. My attitude was alr becoming angry, cos I somehow could have prevented this just by looking at the Station timings. Then my bro so blur but its becos I walked too fast. Then when we got to the bus stop, my bro got a feeling that we missed the bus. Woah, I became more annoyed. Then as I looked at the MRT tracks, then I saw a train moving. We could have actually waited at Tanah Merah and in the end, get a train instead of all this crap. I became really frustrated and zack was stilling talking to me. Omg, so I kinda got angry on him. Zack, if youre reading this, though I have alr say sorry, I will do my best not to vent my angry on you.

So at that time, I was angry and I just didn’t want to be with zack. So I told him I don’t want to sit with him with the Cell. So I sat with Ben and yes, in the beginning, I had no feeling to worship God, no feeling to clap my hands. Not at all. Then as I sat down, and became to hear the speaker talk. Soon enough, I know that God knows me full well, and he knows what can calm my anger quickly. He knows what can bring me joy no matter what, he knows what to cool me down even if im sooo mad at someone. So God uses encouraging words and soothing music to calm me down. And the sermon was about the different types of Prayer, if I were to explain them, this page will be filled so if u wanna know, ask me in person or MSN. So I extremely enjoy the sermon. It was one of the very few times that I actually ran to the speaker and thank him personally. Yes, I don’t normally do that but this time is different, so u may know how awesome and good the sermon is. So I was back to myself in no time, I join my Bedok Cell and talk to them until dinner time then I had to go and have dinner with my Highlife Cell. Then we came for the last prayer meeting and yeah, my parents were there. Its stated in one of the ‘normal’ miracles, basically, normal miracles are actually nice miracles I am grateful of, but if people are in a rush to read my blog, they can skip it. Or not say skip it, they can don’t read first and next time, then read it. Ahhh, I don’t know what to say. They are just good but not so notable miracles.

Oh yeah, after 2 days, I noticed someone jump on the MRT tracks and got hit by a train. But we only came after the accident. And no, I didn’t see the person, whether he is dead or not. Didn’t actually believe someone could do something stupid like jumping on the tracks. I mean, who would do it…unless your gf/bf fell down and you went to save the boy/girl but end up getting hit by a train. If u dropped your iPhone or iTouch or some device that can help u teleport anywhere at anytime, just let it be. Even if that object is so precious like a iPhone 6000 (better than iPhone 5000) with 600GB memory, high-tech camera, HD videos, and ultra music, still don’t be stupid to reach for it on the MRT tracks cos nothing it worth more than Life (except God).


Movie Review- Zombieland

Rating- 8.5__ 3.5 stars

The time I said, the intro makes the first impression of the movie but its not totally that if the intro is good, the movie is good. But this movie manages to keep audience laughing hard. The intro is just wonderful. The slow-motions are just very wonderfully displayed. It really brings the terms of what we must do when a virus, zombie infection strikes the Earth. The rules are very realistic and I believe most zombie movies normally would agree with it. Like, shooting the head and making the zombie is really ‘dead’ dead and checking the car. However, it may not be as interesting and exciting as Shaun of the Dead as I would only love the last part of the movie. Nonetheless, the movie is pretty funny. A cameo scene by Bill Murray so keep watch for that. Basically this movie talks about how to survive a zombieland and precautions that we must take. No star directors nor star actors, but I think it will make a nice impression for the way it is being presented. The only the viwers would want more would be more zombies, more guns and more killing.

Miracles Witnessed 4:01 PM

Miracles
1. People were asking me, do I have a job? Why? And I thought to myself, since im so free at home, might as well, get a part-time job. But how? So when I was going guitar practice with Ben. He then told me he needed a helper to help him in some job. It was at ACJC. So I immediately agreed. Its was killing 2 birds in one stone. I found a part-time job and I can also bond with my cell mates since Ben was in my Cell too. So yeah, its cool!

2. Ben and I went to ACJC and we were suppose to take back the forms, since we are doing counter job, and count and copy them into Excel. So its something like Admin work. So everytime, when we proceed to the next day, we have to always count the number of papers submitted the day before. And often, we will get incorrect numbers and sometimes, some papers go missing. Omg, it was quite scary. So we would recount them again. So by the 4 day, we got about 300 plus papers. Then all of a sudden, one paper was missed out. then Ben told me that we had no choice but to count and check 300 plus papers again, while still tending to the customers who will come by our store. So we got really tired and after work, we got Prayer meeting at night. So Ben would sometimes be too tired to come, but I will still come. Even though our pay was pretty good, I saw it an opportunity to make some new friends. ACJC people are very kind and friendly. Only few people are rude and vulgar but thats not the point. So there are many miracles in ACJC like, missing papers being found, rushing for cheque books and in the end, got the job completed. Getting some awesome food and we spent more than bombs, haha!

3. I actually had a very good talk with Ben. Im so glad I get to know him better and more. We talks about our lives, our past experience, our goals, our weakness and strengths. So I get to practice Guitar with Ben and we wont be such strangers. So I think we have become good friends throughout the 7 days together. haha, he loves food just like me :P


4. Prayer Meeting, I came to know its not just come campaign, not some program or anything, it’s a time when we are really hunger and really want God to speak to us, really. So every time I went for Prayer meeting, in the first few days, it was pretty dry and we always prayed for the same thing. But as I continued to come, especially with my Cell, the atmosphere becomes really powerful and u just feel a stirring in your heart as u sing. I don’t know why or how, I can just feel it. Then it becomes more clear on why pastors or Worship leaders day they could feel the power of the Spirit in the Worship Centre. The power of prayer becomes stronger, people started becoming more committed to pray and spend time with God.


5. I sat with Wee Kiat with more than 3 prayer meetings, which is very good cos I just love the way he prays. Its very powerful, it was almost the prayer was going to come true anytime.


6. I got the Gift of Tongues on the 8 day of prayer meeting. Its true, I have absolutely no idea what ON EARTH I am saying but so does everyone else who have the Gift of Tongues. I told my friends, u know sometimes when my bro and I talk, no one can understand except us. Well, speaking in Tongues mean we ourselves don’t even understand, only the Hold Spirit. Then I ask myself, how does the Holy Spirit leads me in prayer if I don’t even know what im saying. But many people have told me not to worry, becos it is not by my knowledge that I will understand this. Its like a next chapter of Faith cos I have to put my trust on something I cannot see, the Holy Spirit. That’s Faith. And many have also said, when we pray in Tongues, miracles of healing takes place, people just fell on the ground, more came to Christ, people just cry continuously though there is nothing wrong with them. Our intelligence, knowledge and understand are finite and limited, that’s why we ourselves, cannot fully understand Gift of Tongues. Well, but im just so high and energetic when I got the Gift. Thank God!


7. Finally!! I managed to go out with my Bedok Cell. But sadly, only 2 came. But on the bright side, the 2 people were the 2 good friends I met from the Cell, Basil and Christie. So we watched Alice in Wonderland which was superbly awesome. Awww, I do hope I can go out with them again. They just put smiles on my face, haha! :)


8. My parents finally came for Prayer meeting. It was at the last prayer meeting so I kinda forced them that they cannot miss it. And they did come, haha! Small but cool miracle though.


9. Reading the Passion & Purity Book and I believe God has talked to me a lot of times through the book about relationships and true love and God desires and thoughts for us. I read one part to my bro last night, it’s a good chapter on What to do with Uncertainty and Loneliness.


10. im going out with Boon after not talking to him for a week. Yeah, hopefully, I can invit him for Good Friday Outreach.


Movie Review- Sorority Row

Rating – 8/10__ 3 stars

Another Teen slasher movie. A group of girls plays a prank on one of the guys. The guy thinks he kill his gf and the other girls suggested that they cut and bury the body. So the guy ends up taking a tire iron and stabs through the ‘dead’ girl’s lungs, killing her. Is this what happens when a girl cheats on a guy? I don’t know why it had to be so serious. Jessica (a girl from Theta Pi) thinks she can handle the situation and her orders are just simply annoying. The movies tries so hard to let the viewers not guess who the killer is. Well, indeed, I guess no one will know who the killer is until the end of the movie. But when the killer is revealed, that’s when many Qns rise like how did the killer do this, how can the killer do that and so on. I think its just all right if the viewers manage to suspect the killer. Must the plot be so complicated that no one can guess it correctly? I rather have a cliché movie that either people love it or hate it. Its better than just different and confusing. I do applause to the intro becos of the One Take. But after that, the movie becomes nonsense. Along with random make-out scenes and predictable scares, the movie can be almost forgettable.
