Responding to Jobs 10:20 PM

30-31 July (Mon & Tue)
2 Day Job
One of the most typical jobs any teenagers will face but one of the most untypical response towards it. Well, this is about 2 months ago so I don’t know if I can rmb the whole incident. If I were to tell you everything, woah…. 10 hours! So Im just gonna sum up everything with a few words… maybe a few words (less than 2000). O_O

Okay! Before I went for the job, there were alr a lot of things why I alr hated the job. First, the person who is suppose to tell me the details told me 1 day before work starts. Its freaking so last minute la! I wasn’t even sure if I should come or not. Since he didn’t tell me, the events that I plan on mon and tue, I had to cancel them and I guess my mum is quite frustrated for last minute stuff. Argghhh! So actually, I just wanna quit and say no but I guess part of me still wanst to ‘try’ a job. Funny right, ‘try’ a job? I had no reason why. So I prayed the night before I went to work, hoping God can lead and teach me something. So I went and gosh! The first thing is, the person I call for directions is super rude. Out of 5 new comers, im the only guy with 4 girls. O_o and the guy who is 26 years old, who is suppose to guide me. He was the ‘‘best’’. The staff told him to do stuff, and then I ask him ‘so what are we doing’. And he said, ‘oh don’t know…’ My face was stunned right there. The guide doesn’t know what to do? WTC man! It’s the first time being so lost and another lost guy doesn’t even help. So we were given very small and literally easy jobs, like directing the people from the bus to the entrance. Its THAT simple.

Cut the story, after that, I finally plucked my courage to talk to some of the girls and figured they were from Year 3. Names… errr, I rather not say here. So I follow Nick, my ‘guide’ to another room. There are 3 rooms altogether, the First, Middle and Last. Get it. Simple right? Okay cool! Moving on! Nick and I were in the First. The Middle was use for Performance and demonstration. The last room was just some lotion applying room. So Nick showed me how to use this little ‘game’ and trust me, it doesn’t seemed fun. Its just Facebook Ad and Nick cant show me properly what the Ad totally meant for. Well, but actually I don’t blame him cos he used to be a desk person. So the people came in, they were all interested in the new technology, like a device that scans your hair and it straight away tells you how clean or damaged your hair is. Cool right? Of course la. Even I was interested! Who would really care about some FB Ad? After all, the people are all adults and elderly. I don’t think they would be so fascinated about FB ads.

Next thing will be the person operating the new technology is a girl, one good-looking girl. But in my perspective, sorry to say, she just like every typical girl, nothing special. Of course, I wish I can talk to her but there was really nothing much to talk about. The thing that struck me and I have no idea why this thought even come to mind is, what happens if im not paid for the job or im paid less for the job? What will I do? So I actually thought about it and yeah, well, I can comfirm, it actually wont affect much. Yes, why?? The food there is not that bad but they have FREEEEE Magnum Gold ICE CREAM! But sadly, I didn’t get to taste it due to some extra work. Secondly, it kills time so I wont spend more money with friends and waste time playing computer. Then you’ll ask me, why is eating ice cream and doing shitty work equal or better than playing computer and hanging out with friends? Well, I will rather spend or waste time doing a job that doesn’t me than to really waste my time playing computer games that doesn’t even benefit me in the future.

We kinda work overtime a little cos there was more that was needed to be done. And then I started to have feeling that Jia Yi (a guy) have respect for people. When we were packing half-way, the bosses and staff waved goodbye and ‘thank you’ cos they were going off. So curiously, I complained that the bosses and staff can go off early while we still have to work extra. Then Jia Yi came right to my face and pointed his index finger to me and say, ‘hey! Its alr very good that they say thank you to you. Some bosses don’t do that ok? So you better appreciate while they’re thankful for you’…. Ahh yess, I still can rmb almost the exact words he told me. So yeah, I sort of smile back at him and continue doing my work. I could have guarantee almost every teenager will wanna curse him behind his back and show attitude problem. Ha, immature kids. As my sis used to tell me, some people, you just gotta take them with a pinch of salt. So then i did everything and 2 girls and I and Jia Yi, well, the boss had a car so he drove us to Outram Park and we got home from there.

Yes, and this is only day 1. Still got 1 more day to go but I wont talk about cos this is where it gets personal and deep so if you wanna hear, I rather talk face-to-face. That reminds me, I sometimes wonder if anyone is still reading my blog, still enduring the lengthy long posts of my writing. Well, its inevitable. Im a pretty descriptive person in writing but naturally an expressive person in person. Well, to those new that are currently reading this blog, well, there is one thing you might wanna know about me. I write A LOT! to those who are still enduring and reading this blog, man, I wanna thank to taking all my ranting and lame nonsense, if there is any. Apparently, I am wayyyyyyy behind time so I think I gonna update more post quickly.

Movie Review– The Other Guys
Rating- 8.5__ 4 stars
I must admit, I have never seen Mark Wahlberg star in a comedy movie. but for his first, it is actually pretty good. At first, I thought was just being lame in their lames. Next moment later, I cant stop laughing about them. now as I watch the movie again, it freaking hilarious. Will Farrell and Mark Wahlberg make such fine jokers in the movie. Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L Jackson didn’t fail in adding oil to the fire too. They got the most epic death ever. Terry is a cop with serious anger management, wonderfully played by Mark Wahlberg. Allen (Farrell) is a simple cop who isn’t really into action as Terry. Together, they try to be New York finest cops. Epic fail much? However, Wahlberg only shines when he is with another Star Actor. However, he is my next rising star. Anyway, The Other Guys is an action comedy you don’t wanna miss. It has more lame jokes and funny moments than Step Brothers (2008). I got to admit, it was a really good attempt action-comedy. Highly recommended!
