For better or for worse
8:50 PM Thursday The morning is alr shocking. The day was normal but in the morning, we were reading then something happened. The whole sky turn dark with minutes. In about less than 15 min, the sky is like…. Its gonna rain. So we went up to our first homeroom. Dam. We cant get back our Eng papers yet. I Ace my maths tough but Zany beat me. No wait, Don also beat me. Man, I just don’t believe it. but who cares, its still a A1. lol! Got word that I am 1 of the 3 people who improved in Chinese. woohoo! The others… done worse. But due to my listening compre and oral, I got a C AGAIN! Crapping duck! When can I ever beat Winston?? After lunch, I went back to my class for sci. it seems that I need to help my friends to do better for sci especially for some. Stay on for night study until about… dinner time. Then went home. look at the sky.

Friday Omg! Mr Werner is not free again. Dam, he cant check my compo. When am I gonna share my story? Its odd when Miss Wong comes to stage and say, ‘its good that students can come up and share’. When I see a friend get picked to share, the ans is ,’why me?’. Dam, and when I wanna share, its ,’why NOT me?’ WTC. I write 4 compo to Mr Werner. 3 compo got rejected. 1 had to re-write cos its too long. sigh* it must have took a lot of faith to persist on. I really envied those who went to stage and talk. Everytime, I hear a student share, I will get bad comments from all around me. So I felt like sharing s story and present myself clearly. No restrictions, but stick to the rules. Don’t act, be spontaneous. Not everything have to be so formal. But how do I show it if no one gives me a chance? Is this my life? Full of false hope and in the end, all screwed up? Just like my relationship? Just like my old friends? Just like now? Student leaders have come up, drama representatives or CCA representatives come to the stage. Not one keep the audience in anticipation. And here I am, trying sooo hard… just to get on stage. What more is needed of me? And I say… HECK IT. I will not dwell on this negative thinking. Im gonna show, myself, an ordinary student from Ping Yi, can do something a teacher dream to accomplish. That is ‘The crowd’s attention’. And I will tell everyone. Don’t act, be yourself. Cant get back A maths results yet, omg. stay in sch until about 4. went for tuition and yea, we can do compo! The title is… long. nvm, its about u meeting an old friend and how u feel. Cliché, yes, I know. But for zack piece for work. Dam it man, its one amazing piece of masterpiece! How do I know? Read his compo and it will leave u craving for more. Saw this really cool bright blur light so I decided to take a pic of it.

Movie Review- Hellboy 2 Rating- 8.8/10__4 stars Same director from Hellboy. This movie proves to be better becos of the special graphics and omg effects. Storyline is a little weak as ending can be prediected. Kill the daughter and the enemy dies as well. But I love the enemy prince. Freaking awesome! He swings like… omg! ninja!! Special effects truly save the entire movie. The whole movie has, bigger weapons, bigger enemies, and bigger robots?! O.o this movie indeed have more action than the first. Im sure everyone like the Forest Guard scene like a big tree monster destroy a city. U can see the movie is pretty much like Pan’s Labyrinth. It should get an Oscar for Make-up. The Make-up is just superb. The director has really done it. Surprised though that’s this movie didn’t earn any awards. If u like Hellboy, u go watch this. If u like the enemy to be stylish and cool, better go watch it. If u like monsters and out-of-this-world beings, must go watch. Monday, September 21, 2009
This is just so cool!
10:52 PM I aint no singer but still love to sing. I went out with my friends to KTV. Normally, I don’t like this places cos it so freaking loud and I don’t see a meaning behind it except singing randomize songs. The start was alr funny. We thought boon was lost. Then I tried to call him but he didn’t pick up. So Winston and went to look for him. the moment we got in, boon got out. Its like soo WTC. So anyway, we got the last room. Everyone sang Chinese songs and I was so clueless man. Well, Winston picked for me Bu Neng Shou De Mi Mi (secret I cannot tell). Well, I noticed I and Winston are bad singers. But who’s there to know. So we sang like NUTS! When I listen to my own voice in the mic, I sound like crap. Prefer to sing without a mic. Then we sang New divide by I took a bus there. Was about 5 min late. So my teacher marked my compo. She didn’t make a sound. She just correct the errors while reading though. Then I saw her put a tick near the near of the story. Seriously, I was freaking nervous. Then she turned to me. She smiled. I GOT A 23/30 FOR COMPO. Omg! I cant believe it. zack came after 3 min and he…. I wont say he scores. He didn’t fail duh. But I managed to beat him, in compo. Omg. Im just so happy. I thought I’ll never beat zack. So after tuition, we went home and watch Ip Man with my grandparents :P

my friends singing. dont get your expectation up so high Yay! Omg. I love this day. Its just so cool! I saw miracles and precious moments I better keep. Man, I seriously love God. We went to today and service was a little different. We received a letter talking about worship. What is worship? How do we actually worship God? As it is written, we worship him with our entire body. First, our singing mouth, lifted hands, shouting voice, uplifted head, bended knee, bowed head and our dancing body. The speaker was real funny. He wanted us to do all of the above. Everything was easy except for the dancing body. Haha. when everyone dances, it gets super funny. Someone once told me that raising our hands and singing, not only its weird, its sarcastic cos youre like lifting your hands to the stage.. Well, I feel like telling that person ‘‘if you really love God, you’ll do anything for him.’’ I don’t care if anyone is gone laugh at me, even if I dances on the streets to worship God, I will. He is someone worthy of my singing, worthy of my riches, worthy of my deepest deepest of secrets, worthy of my time, worthy of my life. He’s worthy of my everything. Imagine… u did something wrong. No, u did everything wrong. And people come to u and say ‘u have done terrible things, u shall die’. Then the king of the land came to u and say, ‘no, I will take his/her place. Punish me instead’. The people let u off and walk to this king. They bashed him, cut him, bleed him, do everything to him but didn’t kill him. They forced him to walk over a very long distance, carrying an ultra heavy object. They nailed him to that object. When u get nailed and hang, the pain is so bad, u just wanna die. Then u walk towards this king who has taken your burden, taken your place of suffering even though he has done nothing wrong. U thought, why would a king of such great power give his life for me, then the kind turns to u and say ‘ my child, becos I love u’. I tell u, would u love this person? this person who is so perfect yet gave his life just to save your imperfect life. Would u love this person? Would u worship this person? man, I will. I bet I would give him my life too. If I will to raise my hands to praise him, even on the roadside, I will. To some people, its stupid and sarcastic. But to me, its worth it. if I really love that person, I will do it for him. So this service was teaching us how to praise God. And I thought to myself, maybe I ought to jump for joy and sing songs to him. Man, I just love singing. So a speaker told us he was a singer and musician for about good 10 years. And then he was placed in Chinese worship. He felt so strange. What was God way for him? So he told us, its more than the songs we sing, God listen to our hearts. We may not be a good singer, but to God, our voice is prefect. Believe it. and the way he speaks is real encouraging. We can come to church and sing songs to him but he does look at our hearts, not our body. The spirit is more important than our flesh. So we went to our grandma house. I was wishing that my cousin could send me a booklet for Fasting but I got lazy in the morning and forgotten about it. then I came to church to ask my cousin but she didn’t bring. So in my grandma’s house, I ask if she could bring the booklet by next week. I felt really bad cos I wanna Fast on tue in sch, so I guessed I had to wait until next week. Then my cousin suddenly told me she had a another booklet for Fasting. I was quite unsure, I only wanted the booklet cos I knew the booklet can really help. Then she took out a small Article, it was the booklet. OMG. I was soooo filled with wonder. God saw what was in my mind and the booklet was exactly as how I pictured it. omg, its amazing man! Seriously, that was one awesome miracle!! And afterwards, we went to massage. Omg, my both shoulders hurts. So we got home and I played Dota with zack. Then we went out for dinner with my grandparents and cousins to celebrate my birthday. We went to

We went to see 9. omg. review is below. Oh, Im gonna ask my friends whether can go out Phobia 2. the first one was scary but not exactly crazy scary. Now for no. 2, we’ll see about it. haha. Alan, u have been warned! Then we ate at Movie Review- 9 Rating- 9/10__4 stars Keep your expectations low and u will love it. Its by a first-time director Shane Acker. Other than the producers, sounds and music, Shane actually animated almost everything in that movie. The movie may not be action-packed with cool music and intense graphics, but its one of the best cinematic movie ever. Basically, machines had turn on humans (cliché, I know) and a scientist created 9 rag dolls and they have to be the ones to destroy the machines. This is not one of the most but the most realistic animation ever to be released. I would say the movie is as good as the trailer. Well, maybe the trailer is a little better cos it has the intense music inside but nevertheless, the movie proves not a failure. Shane has really proven himself of his talents. highly recommended for everyone. PS: sometimes, I just need for myself. No wait, I need time for God. So I may not be with my friends all the time. And if you guys see me doing some things real funny, let me tell u that I have a reason so. POA test is tmr and here I am still blogging, don’t know whether I can still beat Winston or not. Well, im also going to be fasting also so I may act even more hyper without any reason. And I learnt something that God told me, one of the ways to draw us back to God, is when we have wandered away. True enough? Hehe, I bet it is. 9:31 PM Sunday Today’s been a really nice day. Im tried out quite a lot of new things. Like shopping with my cousin and practicing the piano again plus hanging out with my pals. Man, its been fun. I do apologize James, if you’re seeing this, sorry that we couldn’t go swimming together. I wish we could, but my dad is around and as you know, parents are very concerns about studies. Well, but I promise I’ll come the next time :) So I went shopping cousin. Well, not exactly shopping, more like buying lunch together. It may be a simple and not biggy thing but to me, its like a rare event. So we had a encouraging talk in the car and we wanted to buy some coconut with jelly but it wasn’t on stock. Awwww… sad. So I played chess with zack and omg! I freaking lost. I was winning. Zack had no mood to play alr. Then all of a sudden, he moved 2 steps and its game-over. Omg man! No one saw it coming, not even my bro. dam. He’s one lucky person. well, I did felt very crap up. Its like that joyful smile turns upside down, literally. So anyway, I went out to study SS with my pal and zack. Its good that we see each other once a week. Omg, I really wish we were in the same sch. But nonetheless, I bet we’ll see each other again. And I love Himalayan Tea Latte. Not that its nice, I love the sugary taste. Its awesome. im in my cousin's car! 
Today is SS test. well, as usual. The first thing I do is SEQ. the moment I saw I went shopping with my dad. We were going to buy some cheese and some more stuff but I forgotten. We went to Cold Storage and I felt somewhat strange. My friend used to live somewhere near there. And it’s a she. I used to like her some years back but she got a bf now. I don’t know how and why but when I cross that area. I can feel her. Its really strange cos she alr moved out. I don’t know why but I can feel her presence. I remembered one time, when I cycled along that area and I saw her. Seeing her was a miracle. Both of us are in diff sch. 3 years, we only met once. By then, she alr had a bf so no point trying to ask her out. When my dad drove along that road, I could feel as if she was near, close by. Well, it would be a miracle if I see her again but its not up to fate. But its like still remember, she and I walked along that road, talking… just talking. She was going to buy something from the Cold Storage and I waited for her. We exchanged talk for our lives and how things have changed since my pri sch. We just talked once… only once. And I remembered so vividly. My heart shivered as if I have just talked to a large crowd of fans. I have no reason why. And yeah, she was one of those girls that I was crazy about, just willing to do almost anything for her. Yea, I remembered those times. hahah. Ok enough said. So I went home, played Dota again. I used Undying and kill 13 before I died. I know, some of you are wayyy better. I think so too, was hoping I can kill 20 and then die, lol! look at choc, isnt he cute? haha!

Today we got Maths prelim. P1 was kinda simple. Can do all Qns though. I heard Don can get full marks for P2. omg! im gonna lose man. I don’t even understand how could I possibly be the top in class. Winny is gonna pwn me in POA. Don is fighting to get first place for Maths. Lacey and Robert have won me in A maths plus, kimmy is the top. Winny is gonna pwn me AGAIN for Chinese. Im only good in compo for However, when I got out from sch. My Chinese teacher came and she was quite happy with my results. She told me I got 41/70. 41!!!!!!? How on earth man! I get 46/70. I can go kill myself. Now I got 41. hmmmm, maybe I go to Mars and bash up all the aliens with bare hands, travel to hell and say IN YOUR FACE, then I come to earth and say…. Whats up yo’all! Lol! Seriously, its pure miracle. Thanks to the works of God. I love you, alan. Love ya Winny the cool! Movie Review- Equilibrium Rating- 8.5/10__4 stars An old movie made in 2002. this movie is inspired from the Matrix. How do I know? Go watch that movie. It mainly talks about a world without feelings (sounds ridiculous right). People have to inject themselves with some dose so they cant feel anything. This was to prevent jealousy, hate and evil desires. But they forgot another thing. They forgotten love, mercy, kindness. Sometimes they say sorry and they don’t even know the meaning of it. so it started with 2 clerics. One is feeling, other is not. The one who is not feeling shot the guy who is feel cos he commit a ‘sense’ offense. I know, its stupid. Anyway, the other cleric starts feeling also. He forgotten to take his dose. Not only that, while arresting another sense offender, he saw his reflection on the mirror. And he saw what kind of killer he was. The moment he prevent a person from dying, people start suspecting something. Overtime, they aim to kill the cleric. But the cleric can choose not to feel, which is quite sad. The only thing the bad guys make is… that particular cleric is the highest ranking. He’s like a war hero. He killed 12 men in less than 4 seconds with 2 pistols. He learns how to dodge bullets and kill with anything. Movie has one of the most eye-catching, astonishing, magnificent and top-notch scenes. True, the fighting is few but when it comes, u just don’t get tired of it. the movie may not be one of the best shootout scenes but it indeed did pull out a very inspiring one. 4:58 PM It was strange when that day, I had 2 tuitions also. My dad’s birthday was 8 sept. I got SS tuition, Eng tuition then I gtg off to celebrate my dad Birthday. Omg, the whole afternnon and night im busy. Well, but its not all bad. For SS tuition, we did SBQ and SEQ within 1.5 hrs or slightly more. I think im ready for 2nd prelims. Then we did Compo in Then our parents pick us up and we went to this

Movie Review- Crank Rating- 8.1/10__3.5 stars A movie that I heard it was all-action packed. This movie is seriously action-packed. From start to end, all action. The movie holds utter loads of vulgarities and randomness. For one moment, everyone is talking. Then the next SHOOT, BANG, KILL! Everyone is dead. Its that random. It is not recommended if you don’t like randomness, lame violence and a lot Lot LOT of vulgarities. Basically, its about a guy. The enemies drug him with this ‘chinese shit’. It makes the heart beat slower and you die in one hour. So what do u do? U make your heart pump faster… BY ANY MEANS. So the main character bash his way around, eat drugs, punch black people, threatens doctors, civilians, even his own friends. Crashes through a mall, runs like xiao, makes love in the middle of a super market o_O and jumps off a helicopter just to kill one man. Its an extremely fast paced movie with a weak storyline. If only it has a better plot, I would have given it 4 stars. It shocked me greatly when the director of this movie is the same director is Gamer. Omg. so for your guys who are gonna watch Gamer, that movie will just be as fast-paced and action-packed as Crank. Overall, Crank is still nice to watch. Thursday, September 10, 2009
One day
12:52 PM Saturday Man… I haven’t used my bike for…. Ages! It had rust everywhere. Its like the whole bike is like a brown spoilt metal. Thanks to my maid, she help me spray some kind of oil to it, so I can cycle properly. Well, I thought I cant cycle again cos the moment I got onto the bike, I fell. Haha! so I cycled to the ‘Old’ Ping Yi place to meet with boon kim. We cycled all the way to east Coast park. Omg. my legs were dying after 10 min. this shows how long I haven’t cycle yet. So we were trying to find a place to study, as usual. We went to burger king to buy some food and the place we studied, is the place we where we first started. Omg. nvm. Boon and I studied A maths. I saw this stone spider cos it blends so nicely with the stone table. I got a pic on it but I don’t think u can see it. by the time I got home, my legs were dead, my brain is dying and I am in heaven. Must really cycle more often.

Movie Review- G-Force Rating- 7.7_3 stars For people who think this movie is cute, not exactly. It failed to get most laughs. I cn understand it’s a G movie but wth. The romantic scene and the end scene is like… so drama. For one moment, good guy turns to bad guy. Then another moment bad guy turn to good guy. The voice very dramatic. During the road scene, it was supposed to be the best scene but it wasn’t that intense to keep the audience wanting more. The bad guys are stupid cos they cant even catch a guinea pig. Guinea pigs are too strong cos one can take down a machine. I like the 3 mice though. They bring on the jokes. The movie, I would say, is close to failing but did not fail. The only thing that pulls this movie down, is the acting and voices. PS: Omg. the holidays… I thought it’ll be fun but it wasn’t. sigh* what a let down. Too much sch is bad, too much holidays is also bad. And during the holidays, I waste more money than ever. I think I got less than $60 left. Man… I spent more my allowance is less than 2 weeks. Defining Moments
5:21 PM Saturday (29 July) Today holds a big day. In fact, today is a very important day. Its Defining moments. I have asked so much friends to come to my church. Unfortunately, only one came. I don’t know whether it was a good thing or not. Okay. So I got tuition and cool! I got 69/80 for the CHIJ. Not becos im good, its becos the paper is super easy. No joke man. So we head home. I gave some time for God. After a very long time, my sis managed to invite Ivan and Francine. Seriously, getting them to go to church is a miracle. I had no idea how powerful the talk was going to be but I know Freddy Boey will be there. So no doubt its gonna be interesting. My sis was driving my bro and her friends there. I went off early to meet up with boon first. I met with tim at the MRT. I was hoping his bro would come but he couldn’t cos he got tuition. So only boon came. Omg. out of all the friends, 1 came. It sounded like a total failure. The side gate was closed due to the construction near the church. So we had to go by another side gate, which was near a canal. My gosh. We walked from the MRT to Downtown east. I thought Markus could come but apparently, he forgotten. When we saw the construction side, man… it was like ‘woah!’ so I took a pic. When we got there, my sis ends up being later than us. We got a seat and waited. It was quite empty at first but as time pass, the numbers grew. Cut the story short, my sis came with Ivan, Francine and zack. My cousin would be coming after 7. we had dinner. Then I was helping a lady carry cups of water to her dinner. She was carrying 4 cups so I thought I could help her. She also brought one friend along too. So we talked for a while and she told me it was alright that I managed to bring one friend. After all, it was better than none. It was to my surprise, she was with one of the Pastors, I don’t know who but what the… and she was at the table next to me. How nice. So by 7 plus, we went to the hall. After the songs, we got err… this Andrew Goh speaking. He was the host. Freddy Boey and 2 others will be the speakers of Defining moments. So Mr Goh started to play a little game. It was meant for us to interact around. There was a secret around and only 5 people in the whole place knows it. so we gotta talked to 10 people and see whether we got the secret. And to God’s mercy, grace and wonder, I got the secret!! I was like… SUPER HAPPY AH! It was ‘‘ In the end, it will be okay ’’. 7 words will change everything. If it is not okay, it is not the end. Then Mr Goh tell us another story. It was a very funny joke. I don’t wanna spoil it. im wanna share it in sch. Most likely during Prelims. I will tell nothing to anyone. Only one of my friends know it btu don’t u dare chase after him just for the story. Alright then, without further a do. Dr Freddy Boey is the first to speak. He talks about how scared he was when he was graduating to another sch. The 2nd was Nick. He talk about why JC is very bad so he ends up in Poly. Complains about studies, he never liked it. we were like clapping for him. The 3rd was a lady, I forgotten her name man… she talks on how popular she was with loads of money, married to a good husband and when economic downturn comes, she was going to be bankrupt. Now some people might as well kill themselves cos they cant take that kind of fall or failure. The lady was not going to be bankrupt for 1 year, she was going to be bankrupt for 5 years. 5 years!! Omg! I tell u, can die man. I also can die when I realized this. but God made her strong and she did really fine during the 5 years for bankruptcy. Its true, it never was easy but she continued to hope in God and true enough, miracles do happen. It was quite a nice story and.. Vincent(the senior pastor) had to ruin everything, he stressed too much on Jesus, boon was getting sick… not to mention Ivan and Francine. There was a performance later on. And another song to end off. I can tell u, I really liked the starting but the last part was just over-do. Ayway, I do hope Christianity can come upon boon’s life. I just hope… So my sis have the car and she wanted to drive all of us home. Wow… her driving. Seriously out of this world!! Good news is, she didn’t crash and we are all in one piece. Bad news is she just scared the living hell out of all of us. She cuts 2 lanes, tried to overtake a taxi, turn to one lane and then turn back. Omg! it felt like a roller coaster ride… a really close one. I do not know why, at the end of the day, I felt so pissed off at everyone. I don’t think anyone said anything to me or about me. This sudden rage just fall on me. So angry, I could throw stuff out of the window. I don’t know why. Well, that’s me. There are just some Qns, I myself cannot answer. However, that day is just so unforgettable. look at that!

Notable events
11:35 PM Sch was normal until after lunch time. I was gonna have an interview. I don’t know why. 5 students were chosen to talk about how the sch have changed us. Out of the 5 people, my name HAD to be called first. Maybe miss goh thinks im a good talker… I don’t know. Some things are too hard to judge. We got to prepare a speech and talk for about… a minute or so. As for me, if you want me to be spontaneous, 1 minute just aint enough. For nabeel, he planned something to start off. After all, we are the first class… so nabeel wanted us to say for names first then 1, 2, 3… the camera pointed to our class and we shout 511! It was kinda stupid but very funny so I didn’t mind it. although I think my voice sucks. Since Winston was the first, he was a little shy since its his fist time facing the camera. As for me, well, it is my first time too… but I have spoken to crowds of people before. So I think speaking to a camera is no big. Winston had a number of re-takes. And soon, it was my turn. I had one re-take. Cos I talked wrongly and I lowered my head. Oh my gosh. But after that, I plucked up some confidence and spoke spontaneously. My greeting speech was good. Then the sch bell rang half-way, so I sorta of stared into space until it stopped ringing. Hey, after all im being natural. Lol! So I talked about 5 min. omg! well, according to me, I normally talked for about 10 min plus. So 5 min is very good alr… even though my speech is the longest so far. I like Nabeel’s one. It’s the best man! Can laugh at his actions, dam funny. That’s what I call, Short and Sweet. Well, but its not edited yet so I don’t know. I shall not comment about the rest. So we went up to English and we were gonna do the topic , Flight. The rest is normal. Wednesday The lessons were fine. Its only after the lessons. Boon and I went for the Camera program. Its just teaching us how to use a good camera and how certain functions can change the image. The theory part was quite alright. Until 3, that was everything become awesome. We get to use the camera and take pic for an hour. Omg! how cool is that!! So firstly, we sought the teacher on the final touch-up for the camera, about the aperture and shutter speed. So we went out to take pic. We took… a lot of pic. There were some very nice pic but only one gets to be in our ‘‘ award-winning pic ’’. the bad news is, we didn’t win, obviously. The good news is, our pic got the most ‘Woah’ seriously. I also thought about it. our pic looks very nicely done, looks. But I must admit, we had a fun time taking photos. Friday It was my first trip to my new tuition teacher’s house. It was located near Mount batten Road. I was kinda anxious cos Ive never been there before. No wait… never really been to that place before, as in by bus. So I tried to stay alert instead of sleeping in the bus. So I noticed one thing. Out of all the bus stops, one stop only has 3 no. on it. so I kept looking outside, finding for any bus stop sign with 3 no. on it. It was hard but I found it at last. So I scream for joy before going in and my tuition teacher alr knew it was me. My bro… he came in cos he overslept. We did compo. Omg. I hope I can do well this time. For 3 sessions, I have failed compo cos I didn’t stick to topic or wrote off point. Then I saw puppies! My tuition teacher’s pet has puppies. Don’t worry, I got a pic of the other animals as well. hey hey!

Movie Review- Alone (thai) Rating- 8.3/10__3.5 stars From the directors of Shutter and 4 bia, this movie is the only movie that is PG. that does not mean it is less scary, it means just less blood. Haha. the movie is equally scary. A number of scares here and there. One scene is take note of, watch out after the dream, the girl hanging on the fan is a KILLER. Can freak u out! I hate the sounds of that part, just gives me the creeps. I must say the make-ups is very good. The reason why this movie got awarded a lot of 4 stars is becos, there is a very good twist at the end. Seriously, the story plot is good. Better than 4 BIA. Want to know more, watch the movie! Take notice, the acting is very good… if u know what I mean. PS: eng Prelim 2 is tmr. haha! i still blogging.
