15 June (Tuesday)

ahhhhh! It been too long a time since I last saw my Wushu friends. I was called by Josh to attend it, actually, I want to skip cos I got some other stuff to do but in the end, I did come… psss, if not, Josh will KILLLLL me. So anyway, I met up with my friends and we went in. to my surprise, I even see many unfamiliar faces but they claim to know me. Omg. And I even forgotten many juniors names, crap. I will try to remember more of them. Then there are some real nice food like, stingray and prawns on a stick. Haha! Josh actually wanted to sing a song but I kinda forgotten the lyrics… hey! I only start to memorize them on that day itself. Its ‘You and Me’ by Lifehouse.

Then afterwards, there was a time where we sat down and talk. Miss Goh asks about our lives and how we are doing in Poly. It appears that I could be the only one in Wushu that went to Ngee Ann poly. Well, I was indeed thankful that I don’t just go with the flow. I notice that standing out is very very outstanding and inspiring. For instance, everyone wears a mask. Once, one person takes out his mask and live by it, u notice, others will soon follow. Going with the flow may be good but it depends on whom you are following.

So after 10, I left with Coach and we got a bus back together, and he was telling me stories about being a Coach. You got to admit, sometimes, he is very funny in his actions. It taught me about being Child-like and Childish. First thing, I would like to thank God for showing me many things, even though I forgotten some when im writing this now. But I do thank Him for getting me back to Wushu. Something does tell me, with God, everything is going to change.

Movie Review- The Shawshank Redemption
Rating- 9.3/10__ 5 stars
This movie is rated top in IMDB (internet movie data base). Said to be the best film for 16 years, although its not the highest action or money-grossing movie. I watched this movie in Sch during Storytelling period. We were meant to focus on character and storyline. And I tell you, the plot was just so ingenious. It talks about a banker who was wrongly framed for murder but he didn’t speak up and make his stand. As a result, he was sentenced to prison for life. He witnesses the horror of prison life but he chooses to react to them differently. This brought him to new friends, reliable friends and favour from the warden. Alan (Tim Robbins) was a man of his words and this proves he know how to get things done. What was dirty inside came out to be clean. Morgan Freeman also played a superb actor and an excellent narrator. From the director of the Green Mile, this movie has lived up to the top movie of IMDB. Unfortunately, it was not awarded any awards since it was competing with many good movies and people favoured the others more. It is highly and really recommended to everyone who hasn’t seen the movie. The movie is focus a lot on character building which most movies nowadays lacked. It surprises to see that after 16 years, visual effects improved so much but none can beat a original storyline film. It shows, plot, character and Thought are very important to make a good movie. Much to be learnt from the movie.

PS: omg! now its alr Aug and im still updating on June. shoot man. i must be real slow :|
