Never a Dull Moment 5:07 PM

Friday

The early morning, I went to Ben house cause he’s teaching me guitar. And its free. So we had breakfast first and I don’t know why but Ben seems to love Tea a lot. We keep talking about Tea and how good the prata and fried banana is. I know the name but I cant spell it. Anyway, my bro came along later and so did another of Ben’s friend, Charles. I keep thinking its Charlie, I don’t know why man. So we talked about more Tea and poly life. I think we talked a long time, like 11 to about 1 plus. Then we jumped to talking about bubble tea and jump to nice food then jump to where to find nice food, then jump what pancakes Ben wants to make. Haha. So we met this old lady, she was combing her dog or removing excess hair with a comb. We walked even more. Talked about how to make good pancakes that can beat McDonald’s Hotcakes. And man, the weather was a killer.

So we went to Ben’s house. I think playing the guitar is still quite hard. Cause I sometimes cant get the chords right and it got this draggy sound, means I was pressing the other strings also which Im not suppose to. So Ben taught me a new song and this time, it have to switch chords pretty fast. At first, I got 1 chord but have to switch from fret to another. Now I got to switch chords which I had troubles doing. I know for those people who can play guitar very well, im a pretty slow learner and I only just started!!! And I noticed, its freaking hard to sing and play the guitar at the same time, even though I have seen so many people done it before. Well, maybe im only a beginner still. Then Ben got this dog. Her name is Goldie but she’s black in colour. It’s a paradox but who cares. So she reminds me of my 2 dogs cause she got the very innocent eyes like Choc and she acts like Tabby. Then she normally plays fighting with Ben. So after practicing the guitar, as usual my fingers freaking hurt. They are like indented. And yeah, Ben was quite funny. Cause he knows his dog is afraid of big things, so Ben use his guitar and play with the dog. And Goldie will like, keeping running from it cause the guitar is bigger than her, duh. So it was quite a funny sight. Then I discussed to Ben about a new song Im about to intro to Cell. So I sang to Ben the song, and yes its written by me.


So Ben decided to compose the music for me. Omg, that’s soooo nice. So we plan about the music will go and more edition to the lyrics. Then Ben got Mac which can record audio. I don’t know but the comp alr have the software. I also don’t know how Ben can find the right chords of the song. So I sang the song and omg, the audio recorded in the Mac is sooo crisp. It like hearing another singer but actually its me. So Ben cleaned his house and told me he would finish up composing the song later. Cool!! Cant wait, but as Roxane said, it may not be the time for me to lead in worship… not yet. Then we went to the MRT and Ben went to his grandma house.

As for me, im going to meet up with Boon and zack is going home. So I talked to Boon about a whole lot of stuff.


It seems that JC life is really very hard and yes, it can bring people so down until 3 people can quit class. So I talked about how Life seemed like a game to some people and how we should not regret in Life as it will just simply pull us down. Then we talked about the world and how people tend to lose hope after some time. We had a really good time. I thank God that we can have such a talk like this. I always told myself, if boon manages to go with me no matter long of short, its alr a miracle. So we met Faisal later on and he was telling us how sch has been so strict and how hard studies is. So we talked until dinner time and they were so kind. They accompanied me to the bus stop even though it was quite a long walk.


Haha, I really love God. Its not becos God bless me first, don’t get me wrong. If u come near to God, God will definitely come near to u. u know, sometime back, my friend asked me, why didn’t I go look for a job? I told him cause the job will hinder my Cell time and it will sometimes clashes with my ministry work in Church and I don’t want that to happen. So what on earth will I do during my free time? Actually I didn’t even plan it out but God just work things out smoothly and I mean very smoothly. Sunday, I got Video Crew work and im going out with my friends for KTV. Then on Monday, I’ll go look at my new house, Tue onwards, I’ll be working part-time at ACJC. Super cool eh?? Ben asked me for the work and I immediately say yes. Its not really a high-pay job but its good enough. Its 5-day job, yeah.

Sunday

I woke up early and rushed to church. Im doing shadowing in the Video Crew, means I just observe what the people do and understand the gadgets. I was late but apparently, the others were later. So I met up with new guys and see how they operate. Before, we all start, we all pray together and get ready. William was the cameraman and I stood beside him. The Director Thomas told me I can observe how the manual camera works. So its quite cool. U like, can stalk people using the HD Cam. So we have to focus on the speaker and sometimes, the worship leaders. So I get to try out the camera also. And I really liked it :) btu I got to keep the speaker in the middle of the screen, it’s the best. Then during breakfast, I met Gwen and saw another Cell member but man, I forgotten how to spell her name AGAIN! So I talked to the Crew about my dreams and goals. They also told me how a Director’s work being very tough. So yeah, I took their advice. I was doing 2nd service also and this time, I went into the ‘room’. We called it the Control room. So I saw about the 3 electronic camera. So there are 4 cameras, 3 electronic and 1 manual camera. I get to control the electronic camera and yeah, its pretty fun too but it quite hard, harder than the manual one. I get to understand about VM, Video mixer and how it maybe the toughest job of all cos u got to say which camera is showing who to focus on. Anyway, I had to leave early cos I was going out with my friends.


So I rushed to Bedok interchange and crap, my friends were late. Cause they were all waiting for a friend. So we took a bus to the Katong Centre. Got some pic on them, they looked funny :P so we were very early. It starts at 3 but we reached there by 2.30. so we hang out by the entrance talking about our lives and so on. At 3, we went in and omg, the room is super small. It was a room for 4 but there were like 6 of us. WTC. So we were checking on the comp and we cant figure out how the comp works until 15 min later. Winston and Zhi Jun were like cursing the whole time. We even press a lot of wrong songs and had to skip them. And I don’t believe this. The TV is just 1m in front of us. Woah, we can go blind man. So Don and I were finding the Eng songs. But I still cannot find most of the songs I liked. Anyway, we sang until 6.30. the room was super cold, Alan keep wanting to touch my neck and Shaun keep hugging me. I don’t get it. Am I such guy fan? And Winston always don’t want people to touch him, so does Zhi Jun. so we were talking whether to go play Pool. So in the end, we did go play Pool.


We got 2 tables, 3 people on each. It’s a 2 v 1 match. Im with Shaun fighting Winston and Zhi Jun with Don fighting Alan. Omg. I don’t know how but Winston suddenly become so good. He suddenly hit the balls so well. We were like losing REAL quick. Alan… ah, he’s still the same. In less than 15 min, Shaun and I lost. The other group was still continuing. Then the next match, we were SOOOO close to winning but Shaun hit the black and white ball in. so we lost :( the other group, ai ya, Alan for sure win, without doubt. So we played a quick half hour game cos Alan and Don need to go back. Haha, my friends were really kind, especially Winston. I think he paid for quite a lot of things for me. He’s personalities still remain the same though. So he treated me and helped me pay for Pool. Wooo, he’s very nice. I think I’ll buy him a present o his Bday. Shaun was also another kind, good friend. Yes, guys, I know youre gonna read this. Just wanna say, its real nice to have friends like you!

So we went to Bedok and had dinner together. I got home and my bro came and told me how great his day so. he had a very nice talk with the people and though he did not know many of them, they had a pretty personal conversation. Hehe, I guess my bro finally understands why he should let go of his old friends and start looking to more friends. I guess zack has really bond pretty well with the Cell and I feel, that was what he had been looking for 17 years of his life.


So yes, he was so right. Indulge in the little things in life and everyday… we will see that each day is a miracle. We know all of us want a miracle to happen in our life. But if we don’t see the things happening around us and keep leaving it to Fate and coincidence, then nothing will be called a miracle. Like my bro said, if u trip on your own footing and manage to get back on. What do u call it? Just lucky that u didn’t fall? No, it’s a miracle cos u could have fell and hurt your elbow or something. Then u said, ‘then wont everything just be a miracle?’ and we will say, ‘Yes’. For those who are really longing for a miracle, open your eyes and see. Look around and observe, u will see that even in the darkest hour of our lives, even the smallest light will shine the brightest and u will know, a miracle will come. Not all hope is lost, not all dreams are crushed, the smallest of things could just be the best day of your life. :D

Movie Review- Accident

Rating- 8/10__3 stars

Produced by Johnnie Too. Its about how killers plan to kill the victims but making it look like an accident and no one would suspect anyone. The true that the methods of killing a person is creative but it over-dos it when the main character becomes so paranoid about it, thinking that everything is not an accident. It is a little over-rated and it has a high PG rating too. Richie Jen is the second main character and he does not even appear in the movie until 40 min has past. And he’s role doesn’t even involve him with the storyline but the over-thinking Louis Koo keep trying to target Richie, thinking he could be the murderer. There is just so much that could be done to make it better.


PS: im going for 21 days of prayer means im praying for 21 days. i aint quiting. so if i cant go out with u in the night or stop going on the comp for a long time, dont worry. im just letting go of the comp for now. i may update again after 3 weeks. i may update half way if i do have the time. right now, the 21 days of prayer has now started so yeah, im still free during the day except of this week but i wont be free in almost every night. well, yeah, just letting u guys know first :)
i noticed, people do change and they say, things changed. but do u ever notice, when people want to make a difference in things, and things for the better, they have to take courage and step out of their comfort zone and must have great faith in themselves that they will change the atmosphere. ever notice that?
