Outstanding Occasion 9:46 PM

Friday

Omg, this day have been a really wonderfully blessed nice day. I can agree its been real tiring but I must say, its super worth it…. I met my Wushu friends about 10.30. they were arranging for the performance for the sch. One of my friends, Edmund, wanted me to recorded the performance, so yeah. I got a cam with me. I met my friends at around 11. Yeah, so I had some food with my Wushu friends but they left later on. So we went up and yeah, sat on the carpet, the Wushu carpet. Omg, my friends were so talkative. And when the performance came, I stood up and started recording. Woah, I tell u, the performance was so long, my hands were aching and my legs nearly died. My friends knew that, I just collapsed on them. Poor CS…. Anyway, the performance, I only liked the Lion Dance. I could see the perseverance in the people. You can ask form me the video if u want to but I gotta tell u its super big, like 200MB. Then, I hanged out with my friends. We went to drink bubble tea for one very good reason, cos I like bubble tea!! Haha! Really!

So we planned on what to do next and after a long… pointing here and there, we went to Downtown East for Pool. Yeah, we played for 1 plus hr but for me, I have to play for an hour only cos later on, im meeting a friend whos gonna teach me guitar!! Cool man! And something amazing happen!! I managed to win 2 of my friends in Pool. 2 games, 2 wins. Yes man!! :D super happy! CS was saying he only plays with ‘pro’ (pointing to me). So I told him maybe I was lucky. Hey! I hit 3 balls in. u can see im not actually a good played cos I missed the ball and gave away my turn twice and I cant ram the balls. So yeah, but im amazed. I actually aimed pretty straight :P that was something I was proud of. Woohoo!! It was really one notable day.

Now comes the tiring part, I was rushing to meet a friend and I had to bring my guitar cos he told me he could tune it. So I got an hour to get to home and get back. And the best part is Downtown East was so near my church, so its like going home and going back to Downtown East AGAIN. So I got there but was like late a little. So I learnt I Could Sing of Your Love Forever and Heart of Worship. But I had long fingernails so I was very hard to get the right chords. Then we learnt strumming and the parts of the guitar. The lesson was pretty short though. So I went to Rwanda to drop off my cousin and my bro. and another cousin and I went to pick to Joshua. Woah! I tell u, the traffic was so bad, on the way there, we hit ALL red lights. No Green, serious. Then on the way back, we managed to get TWO green lights. The rest were red, and trust me, there were a lot of traffic lights. Like one every 100m. Then we ate some really good dinner but I couldn’t finish cos the plate was so big and it had gone cold :( and we went to church for service. Met with my cell and we went up.


Service

They talked about Faith to see Miracles. Its super nice. And yay, I sit front of Wee Kiat. Yuppie!! So we got combined service and wow, the whole place is so packed, even in the foyer there are people. The speaker talked about 4 steps to see miracles in our lives. 1st, we must have Faith in Jesus. From Mark 5:21-34, it explains about a woman who has constant bleeding for 12 years, she walked to Jesus, thinking if she would just touched his clothes, she will be healed. So she went and touched his clothes. She was immediately healed. Jesus questioned who has touched him and the woman fell before him, trembling in fear and telling him the whole truth.

Then Jesus said to her, ‘go, your faith has healed you’. Yeah, that’s basically the summary, haha.

So the speaker talked on this woman hearing the msg about Jesus. Faith comes from hearing the msg. then she focus on Jesus and not on her problem anymore. Cos if u know, the olden times, such a woman who has a bad condition. People normally stayed away from her and they assumed if she were to touch anyone, they will get the ‘virus’ as well. It is written, that she have sought many doctors to help her, if u do that, u get like… super lotsss of medicine. And the thing is, not only her sickness is not well, she gets worse. She could have thought to herself, ‘why bother seeking for help? Im hopeless. No one can help me anymore..’ but no, she didn’t give up and continued finding for help, and when she heard about Jesus. Her thinking changed, once her thinking changed, her feeling changed. Then she focused on Jesus.

The end of man’s way is the start of God’s way. Cos when you have nothing at all and there is no know one else to look to, that’s when God comes in. 2nd is to speak words of Faith, means don’t speak negative words to yourself. Cos negative words will pull you down and discourage you. Speak negative words also cause feelings of doubt to enter and in the end, u would just want to give up. When that happens, two things… the devil has won and you have lost. So don’t let negative bring u down, Jesus can reject man’s words for one good reason, He is greater than out lives. So to you Christians, a word of advice. To overcome this, confess God’s word, cos confessing God’s word is always a positive confession. As quoted from Mark Hankins, Your Word will either complete your faith, or they will defeat your faith. As the speaker said, Believe and you will receive.

3rd. take a step of faith, cos the woman went to touched Jesus clothes. The woman knew if she would touched anyone, not only people will get affected, others will cursed her and avoid her. But she didn’t lose hope and took the risk to touch Jesus. She puts her faith, therefore cause her to act instead of just wishful thinking. Faith is like a Bungee jump. U know bungee jumping?? I think most u heard that. I actually jump off like a cliff and when youre about to hit the ground, u bounced back and swung mid-air. So u are still safe. No matter what u do, u will not hit the ground. God’s word is the bungee jump, no matter how tough your situations are, God will still keep u safe. Yes, we all know it seems really risky and that’s why we need faith to believe. In Hebrews 11:6, ‘Without Faith, it is impossible to please God, becos anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

4th, Keep up your faith. This is important as it helps u to be ready. Faith builds up the Spiritual atmosphere and causes people to experience MIRACLES. Yeah. There was a time when couple came to stage and shared about what they faced with their youngest son. When he was 2 or 3 yrs old, he could not walk and doctors say if he continued this until 4 yrs old, he will never walked again. Normally, parents would believe what doctors say and indeed give up on their children but the parents did not. Instead, they believed their son will walk again. They tried to help their son walk but then few years later, the son suffered an infection. Then they have just received Christ and they couldn’t do anything but pray. It may sound very weird and funny at first but yeah, they didn’t stop praying. The father received a msg from the bible from crap, I forgotten about it. The father said that 10 days were the most exhausting and frustrating moments of his life. But he still persevered and didn’t give up. When their son was better from the sickness, he managed to walk about 10 meters in front of the doctors and his parents. Doctors were wrong and now… the son was able to walk about 20 meters, yay!! Praise the Lord!

Movie Review- Gamer

Rating- 8.4/10__3.5 stars

From the director of Crank, comes another with intense violence and blood. The story is pretty simple, play 30 death-match games and u can set free. And of course, the games are real with real people. Then u ask, why on earth would anyone play such stupid dumb games like this? Even though u are dealing with real people. The Ans is obvious. The fighters, are prisoners who are condemned to die. And these fighters will definitely have loved ones. The loved ones did want to live without them so they end up following them in the game. And yes, u will get some sick jerk in every game. And the thing is, u cant control it and have to follow the ‘user’ directions. Means a person can control to rape a man or woman and yeah, the victims have to do it. That’s why u get a M18 rating. The action indeed cool and exciting but it fails to keep audience expecting more. And the flashers (u know what I mean) are just starting to get annoying. Overall, I think people who loved action and violence movies can watch this as it will not disappoint.
