24 – 04- 2010__ Saturday

Surviving a 24 hours with 2 hours of sleep
I agreed to help Ben in some video editing. I thought maybe it was pretty cool and I also noticed that Ben was alr very tired, he helped us to lead worship in Cell and he got many many more stuff to do. I could see he really needed some rest. So I decided to help him. It was alr 11 but I told myself, I must help. I pack my stuff and told my mum about it. I reached his home at near 12. Then Ben showed me to i-movie, a pretty lousy movie maker but nonetheless, it was new to me. After a long time of figuring here and there, I can start to edit. Ben was super tired so he went to sleep first. He told me to wake him up at 4am but I didn’t want to. I would know Ben would be very tired throughout the whole day and I didn’t want him to tire himself too much.

Even though he doesn’t mind and so, I just don’t want him to do that, I would rather tire a lazy person like me than do nothing and others tire themselves out. The only thing that accompanied me was Ben’s dog who are very active. The shots are very limited and the angles were not so wonderful but still, I have to make the best out of it. The next problem, what about the freaking music?! So I gotta find out music to suit the movie. I don’t care if the lyrics suck, as long as it match the movie, I will put it in. Its like creating something out of nothing. In fact, its quite tough. So I spent about 4 hours editing a short 3 video. It was 5 am. I just lie on the floor and stare at the light, the next thing I know, I slept and woke up at 7. I look up, oh no! I forgot to put subtitles. But Ben told me I did a lot and he was thankful for it. He wanted to repay me somehow so he gives me a small gift. APP IT. But that was not the main reason, my main reason is only one. As God freely care and love for me, a lazy, undeserving kid, then I must also freely give to others who needs it, not want.

At 9am, I have to rush to Ngee Ann Poly for archery. Reach there and crap! I didn’t bring my coupon so I got to pay in full cash. WTC. Well, archery was great. I still suck but look at the bright side, my team got 3rd place!! Cool eh!! The first two are all girls so in short, my team was the BEST boy team for archery. Nothing much and detailed about practice, but there is some pic.






Movie Review- How to Train your Dragon

Rating- 9.1/10__ 4 stars

I never thought this movie would make a huge success but when I first watched it, I was so excited and couldn’t stop praising it. It was just simply outstanding. It puts laughter on people, it put smiles as the Dragon is real cute, and it brings joy as it has a really joyful, happy ending. I just love happy endings when it comes to animation movies. Though some drawings of the Dragons are a little awkward and out-of-proportion, what the heck, its still a movie. The dragons seen in the movie have a weird mixture of cats and lizards. But their actions are sure to bring laughter to anyone. Its about a young boy who is a coward, in a Viking Village, and he dares not kill one of the most deadliest dragon, Night Fury. Then it comes to mind that that dragon also did not kill him, which brings him on the edge to discover and find out the reason. It dawns upon him that Dragons are misunderstood by the Vikings and he tries to stop and convince that they both should be friends. A very touching and cliché storyline of Finding Yourself but it never fails to keep audience wanting for more. Night Fury named Toothless, is the most well-drawn as compared to the other dragons, which explains why most people love him. After watching the movie, I somehow have a want to keep a dragon as a pet. I mean, they just look cute. A different and odd way of viewing dragons but nevertheless, worth watching. Highly recommended for all people, both young and the old. Its been a long time since I watch such an enjoyable animation movie.
