Wednesday (11 Nov)

The o levels is over!! I bet everyone is feeling superbly happy. If youre not, means you didn’t do well for the exams. But I think its quite easy so there’s should be nothing to worry about, yeah? Anyway, boon and I were going shopping today. But first, we went to sch. Then I knew…. Freaking bad idea to wear sandals. I mean, who am I gonna kid? I wore home- clothes and sandals into sch!! Its totally insane. Will the guard allow me? You guess? OBVIOUSLY NOT! The moment the guard saw me, I was nearly chased out. But I convinced him that it would be fast. In and out. So he gave me a chance cos almost the whole sch knows me alr. That’s a benefit. Anyway, so I walked in and another guard stopped. Luckily, Mr Chang saw me and warned me not to wear like that, but I talks him about my views. I wanted to be a Relief Teacher. Don’t say anything!! So Mr Chang gave me some suggestions. Haha. He was very kind. I wasn’t send out so it was very lucky. Then we saw Winny the Ston and he was like shocked to see us. We saw Nabeela too. Then we walked to the MRT.

We were heading to Orchard. When we got there, we were clueless on where to go. Seriously, when I ask boon, boon shook his head, that very uncertain look. He talks about a place name ION, shel mentioned about it. I was wondering where was it. So we came out for the underground and went to a library. Dam, I forgotten the name. some WestLock place. We explored the place. Then we decided to browse through some books. So we looked through some magazines, comics and suddenly, we come across something that caught my eye. Come encouraging, motivating book. The title was ‘7 ways to lead a joyful life’. Anyone heard of it? I thought happiness cannot be bought by anything but this is…

So I decided to look through the book. One thing good about the library, u can sit down and read a book and leave the place without paying a single cent. The Qn is, do u have time to read through everything? So I looked at the Content Page and it was rather convincing. So I read the story. Obviously, the Ans is simple and predictable like… Accept Imperfection, becos u don’t need a perfect person in order to be happy, which is very true. Sometimes, guys would want the perfect woman and the woman would want a perfect man. But see this way, no one is perfect (we all know that) and there is no way anyone can be perfect. The person is only perfect in your eyes if you truly love him/her, but not perfect to the world. So accept imperfection.

Another one would be, being a listening ear and patient…which is hard to most people. If you are really patient and willing to lend a listening ear, everyone would have like you. Everyone loves a listening ear, everyone! So they will feel comfortable and safe around you when they talk. When they talk, they’ll feel happy and so will you.

Then boon found a book which is sooo true. Why does man wants sex and woman needs love? Haha, its not we got nothing else better to read but don’t u think its true too? But we didn’t really read it cos we have little time. Then we went out. We were looking for a place to eat. So we went up to the 3rd storey , then to 2nd storey then out the building. We walk across the street and so on. Got some nice hamburger to eat. Should have ordered a double cheeseburger though. Its seems cheaper. After that, we continued walking. Then it started to rain. Oh oh, but before that, we saw this very nice fountains. They came up from one side of the ground and the water flows to another side of the ground. Don’t worry, I got some pic on them. Then it started to rain. So we walk a bit more and went down, as in underground.

On the to the MRT, I saw the sign, WELCOME TO ION. Omg! I don’t believe it!! I was actually in ION when I first arrived in the station. Omg, see how clueless and blur I am. So we talked a bit more then we went off home.

Friday

Woohoo!! Today is Friday the 13th. Cool eh? Don’t see any bad luck, see no Jason too! In fact, its another glorious, wonderful day. Nothing much happened in the day but in the evening, I went out with my cousin to watch 2012. Review is below. So we went for dinner after that. We talked a lot of crap. Then the food centre was about to closed so we joked about if we were really stuck, what we would do. Stupidly funny. But anyway, we found a way out, duh. Awww, I hope I can watch with my cousin Avatar. Just hoping…


Sunday

Church was normal this time. I don’t know why but at that time, I didn’t feel an urge to sing. I don’t know why. I tried my best to pay attention to the service. It feels like, when God is so good and your life seemed so perfect that u get this self-centered feeling that u don’t need God. Even though, I still love him as much. I cant explain this feeling. So as usual, I went to my grandma place for lunch. Then my cousins was going swimming so since I got nothing to do. I decided to follow them.

When we got there, omg… the sky was dark, storm clouds approach near and it was about to rain. So we got to wait, for the rain to lessen. It is heard that when there is lightning and thunder, we cannot swim. Omg, so I pray and hoped the rain would go away (typical me). Then I saw lightning and heard thunder nearby. Omg. Then my cousin told me after a lightning, count 1 thousand and so on, until u hear the thunder. That would mean how far the thunder is. For Eg, u see lightning and start counting… 1 thousand, 2… 7 thousand, then u hear the thunder. Means the storm is 7 km away. Its only estimated. So as I count, the storm seems to be going away. Woohoo, that’s good. Then we swim and my swimming sucks, really. For those who see me swim, I indeed suck. After 2 laps, I was half-dead alr. I cant do a dead-man-float. I cant even breathe underwater properly. Man… anyway, my cousins and I and my bro went to Hans to eat. Haha. I just love the food there. The only prob is the food is quite and rather exp. So I only plan to go there, once in a while. My family met us and they brought me home instead of my cousins.

Tuesday

Another wonderful day with wonderful events and wonderful moments. Today im going back to my old sch. Only for one thing, to help out in a carnival. Zack and I were so thrilled. Its been 5 years since I ever went back to my old sch. So we followed the students to get to the sch. I even forgotten where the canteen was. When we got there, u can bet we were utterly blur. We were like wondering zombies, roaming here and there. Our cousin got us to managed a basketball game. So as the carnival starts, we got nothing to do. So… we play basketball. Its so easy to dunk. The net was at our neck level. A lot people were coming and playing the game. Haha, we ried to shoot the net across the whole area. It was quite easy though, only the ball was very light so it bounced a lot. The game was so good, we were running out of prizes after an hour or so. By 12 plus, we were alr done. We started before 9. So its not a bad as the carnival in China, but it was rather okay.

So we were so excited we even gave some of the balls away. Omg!! Bad mistake! It was later said that the balls belonged to my cousin himself. So zack and I quickly got the balls back. WTC. Wrong move man. So I got to back the people (who won the balls) and give them something else. Then I got to see that sad, depressing, disappointed face…again. But nvm, at leats I got the balls back. So we went for lunch at Tm.

After that, I was gonna met my friends to find for a job. We were looking for Kelly Services. I was wondering what kind of place is that. So we walk… and walk… and walk. Still cant find it. Winston was thinking whether should watch another movie or not. Haha. WTC man. We went to the 1st to 4th floor and back to 1st floor. We stroll around the whole building of Century Sq. so Winston called his bro and ask for directions. And u know where the place is? It was back where we come from. Omg Wt heck man! So we must do some crap first and then head up to the 7th floor. So an agent comes and straight away shoot us some Qns. He then picks Winston and Alan and says they can come for the job. WTC. It was a packing kind of job. I guess only the strong people can do it. Then there was another job. It was a manufacturing kind of job. Kinda boring from what I heard but the pay is quite good. So boon, don and I decided to accept it after some talk. But I got a prob, I cant work on the last 2 days. I don’t know whether my ‘boss’ allows that or not. I really hopes so. its from 1 dec to 13 dec. so might as well do that best I can eh?

Then the agent told us we need 2 more people, maybe girls or so. if not, we just have to make new friends to join our ‘group’. Then the agent went out. After a second, he came back.

Agent: hey you guys are lucky, we got 2 people alr

Boon: what girls ah?

Agent: yeah, how do u know.

Boon: are they pretty?

Agent: well, when u see the girls, u will go, ‘woah’

Boon look out of the windows.

Boon: shit… shin and they all.

Me: WTC, let me see.

I look out

Me: woah! Oh my…. (I shall not comment)

The good thing is we have the people we know in our group so there should be no problem communicating with one another. Well, that’s about it.


Movie Review- 2012

Rating- 8.7/10__3.5 stars

This movie is not all about destruction and stuff. Its also quite touching too, due to the last part. Basically, its talks about the end of time and blah blah and blah. You know the rest. Many people have little confidence since there was like 4 trailers on the movie just to convince the people to watch. Well, the movie did done well since it was 1st in Singapore and US. Roland (director) is out to destroy the world again, which he is very good in. the movie is very intense and make many people go, ‘woah!’ destruction is a lot and the movie is quite bias. Why? Cos in the first part, everyone dies except the main character. Bias right? Anyway, the movie talks about end of days and why people must unite with one another in order to survive the destruction. Normally, the strong lives and the weak dies but it shows that everyone earns a right to live as well. The movie is quite unrealistic as there are a lot of close-calls, but no one died. Even though, its good, I cant give it 4 stars as its just for eye-candies and nothing more. However, it was quite worth-watching as Roland haven’t disappoint me yet. And the ending… I think many don’t quite understand the ending. The ending shows that earth is healing itself again. If the earth comes to an end, how does it reforms back to normal. Then isn’t not the end of time? So yea, the ending isn’t too bad but it isn’t so good as well.
