Never lose Faith
10:55 PM Based on and inspired from a true event. Solomon knew it was hopeless. He knew there was no possible way he could win. He approached many friends to seek advice. ‘No matter how bad she is, I cant forget her…’ he told Jason and Kite. ‘I made a promise to help Raphaela, and I will. It’s a promise I don’t intend to break.’ After weeks, nothing but failure. All solomon’s friends know about it but not many asked him why. Solomon waited and waited. 3 months have past, still nothing. ‘‘seeing her is common, talking to her will make my day, going out with her would be a miracle ’’ Solomon was getting really restless. If a boy asks a girl out, if she doesn’t hate u, she’ll at least go out with him after a month or so. But 3 months… its totally ridiculous. Solomon must be a real hopeless guy. One of his friends came to him. ‘‘ ask her out to a movie, it’s a basic thing a guy would ask from a girl, ’’ he said. ‘‘oh really? How did u two go out then? Solomon asked in disbelief. ‘‘ thats different. She asked me out first’’. His friend told him. Kite told him it would be better if he could just help in minor things like studies or any help if she needs it. Such a simple task, seemed like scoring all As for O levels. He cant even do it. Jason was telling Solomon if he could just changed the way he talks and the way he acts towards people, there could be a chance. If a person says he is nice. There are 2 things, he’s just acting or he is really nice. How can u tell? U cant. Jason told Solomon might as well be himself and the right girl will come… in time. Solomon already knew that. He’s just too stubborn to accept the fact. Every time Solomon asked Raphaela out. She would say she would confirm later. Only until one day before the meeting, it would be cancelled due to some changing matters. For 2 months this have been happening. Solomon would get so frustrated at times, he would stare at the sky, alone, and ask god why, why and why. His pals expected Solomon to get someone nice, good-looking and maybe smart but this was a total different issue. Many friends have told Solomon, Love is blind but Solomon was well aware of it, he knew about the consequences and he was prepared for it. Some says Love is for no reason but Solomon knew the reason for his love. He just didn’t want to tell anyone. Some have asked, what is Love? Solomon have heard many answers. In fact, they were all true, all of them. But that doesn’t mean they were all right. Some say Love has no boundaries but if u really love someone, there is boundaries and limits to set. 6 months have past, Solomon only went out with her less than 10 times. All his friends, from the most casual friends to the best of friends have all asked him to give up. What for keep up when u already knew you have already lost? ‘what for keep up? There is no hope.’ One of his pals, Daniels, would always ask. Almost everyday, Solomon would merely sit and stared into space, pondering questions to himself. Jason and Kite would come and give him comfort and a listening ear. They were wonderful friends. How can he keep up? Why is he so stubborn and persistent? Solomon also thought that question to him. Ivan told to him, ‘u know what u should do? U should get as many girlfriends as u want. Those who stays with u are your good friends.’ But he doesn’t want to get that attention. What happens if more than 1 girl likes u? and u got to say no to that someone. It will break her heart and that was what Solomon wants. He would always tell Mark about his life. He too suggests that Solomon should give up. So Solomon turns to Daniels. ‘‘I don’t get it. Why don’t u just give up? Its already been 6 months’’ Daniels was curious.
‘‘Well, that’s the problems. I have said the same answers to my friends. I don’t know... I am well-aware of her bad points. I am well-aware she doesn’t like me. But I just cant give up on her. It is a problem I cant describe and a feeling I cant explain. I have this unconditional love for her. And I stop and ask my self why. But I have not found the answer. Its not about looks, its not about intelligence, its something else. I don’t need u to know, I just need u to understand. There are just some questions that cannot be answered by human knowledge.’’ I told Daniels. ‘‘You’ve known im been your friend for 5 years already. But I have never seen a friend like u. I wont tell u to give up already because I know you wont. But instead, I will support u no matter what. If u need to talk, im always there to listen. I noticed true friends are not those who can help u but also those who can be with u’’ Daniels paused. ‘‘That’s right. I haven’t given up on her because I want her to know there are people in this earth that will be with u till the very end. I have heard about her life. And I just want her to know there are some people who will love her for who she is and not because of her looks and outer self.’’ ‘‘That is why, I said I will support u. because I know no friend can be like u’’ Solomon talks to God. ‘‘Lord, its true. before I even make this prayer, u already knew me and u know what kind of person I am. Lord, I just want to ask. Why her? I have always dream the first relationship to be smooth and a clean break but not like this Lord. Why does the first so tough this time? I know u plan my life before I was even born. But I want to know why cant I give up on her? Is there a reason for this? lord, do not be silent, tell me your plans and show me your ways. I am lost without u. I just need an answer, anything… ’’ And words just appear on my mind and all of a sudden, everything comes clear. For 6 whole months, I have cried and suffered emotionally even though I did not show it. I have asked and questioned and now, I knew everything was planned by God. ‘‘If u did not have this ‘relationship’, u wouldn’t have come back to me. If u did not have this problems, u would not read the bible and long for me. If everything was to go so smoothly, u would have stray off and become arrogant like the others. U would forget about your old friends and be with the popular ones. So I have come to break that thick, stone heart of yours and show even the smartest person in the class can fall emotionally. U had said Love is patient, kind and not self-seeking. And today, u have shown it. If u did not endure through all these, u wouldn’t have known what real patience is. Its not just waiting for a miracle. Its waiting and trusting, even through hopes and false hopes, u still wait and trust. That’s called Faith, never lose it.’’
This is the cutest movie I have ever seen for animals. The storyline is very good, it talks about the real world and acting. But its in a dog’s point of view. Super genuine! Very nice concept. Now I know what role a director plays, and it aint easy. The animation is awesomely smooth. The dog and the pigeons are the cutest. The way they tilt their heads. Omg! so cute! Feel like squeezing them, lol! The movie kept me going to my seat. Never a dull moment. That’s if u like animations and animals. Seriously intriguing. I just love when good stories have a happy ending. Just simply love it! some parts may not be realistic cos duh, its an animation. 3D is smooth, not much shakiness. Some parts were also real funny, I laughed at the pigeons the most! Man, they looked dam cute when they talk. I wondered why they didn’t get 4 stars for it. they should have! PS: Fun Facts No. of words = 1500 plus Days to complete post = 1_ today Time spent on post = about 4 hrs, trying to plan on writing this compo. Time taken to read finish post = near 15 min Current mood = normal, neither happy nor sad or angry Forgettable moments (in this week) = talking to God and studying with shel. Some events from this compo is strictly friction and not everything should be taken into account. Thanks to CS for coming up with stupid nicknames for people. Events are true but only my friends that I have talked know about it. So if I didn’t mention anything regarding u or your nickname. One simple fact, its not you. I wont tell u who is who. Only one clue, all the names are nicknames. |
